Join SPJ NorCal and the First Amendment Coalition for an informative and interactive one-hour call Zoom call on obtaining public records laws during the public-health emergency. Media lawyers and journalists will provide an update on what you need to know about the California Public Records Act and other open-government laws. Get an overview of how government entities are responding to requests, what is still required under the law and how you can fight back when you hit roadblocks.
